It can be used with or without the external heater, depending on your extenuating circumstances. For instance, if you are cleaning carpet in an institution, or an older home, to run the heated option, you will need 2 separate outlets on separate circuits that provide 15 amps of power each. If you find that you are blowing breakers, you can remove the heater, and use it as a non-heated extractor, just like our cold water carpet cleaning machines. We provide a circuit tester so you can make sure you are operating on 2 separate circuits before you begin cleaning. No one likes to start cleaning, and then blow a breaker in the middle of your job. This heated machine comes with a 100 PSI pump, and a dual 2-stage vacuum motor system, that provides 150 inches of water lift. A great machine that really pays off
My wife & I have made a ton of money cleaning carpet with this machine. The external heater is great. The machine is heavy and works best with 2 people moving, it, but it can be done by 1 person if need. We need to get a ramp so we don't have to lift it out of the Suburban. We paid for this machine in 2 months of work. Great machine!

There’s better out there
Took it out on an 8000SQFT job the first day we got it. For starters, it’s got to be the heaviest unit out there. Even after using the spot cleaner, the machine basically got the carpet wet with hot soapy steam, sucked it up and didn’t change any appearance. Looked great while wet but came back the next day to see a great dry final product and it looked just the way it did before we even started. Ended up using a $100 Walmart carpet cleaner and made the place shine!

Great machine
This machine works great. We use it for wide open spaces and offices with tighter spaces. It really gets the dirt out. The external heater is a nice feature. The power cords and hose are long so you don’t have to move the machine as much. Overall, very happy with this purchase and I would recommend it to others.
