Many people refer to this machine, and our other heated carpet extractors, as steam cleaning machines. This is not the actual correct terminology for these machines, they are really called hot water extraction machines. If you were to produce actual steam with this machine, the heater would have to heat the water to 212° F, and above. Water this hot can actually be detrimental to your carpet. This 100 PSI heated Sandia Sniper gets you about as close as possible to true steam, it will heat the water to 195° F, under optimum conditions.
When cleaning with this machine, you'll need to plug the two power cords intotwo separate circuits. There is a circuit locater on the machine that will light up, when you are drawing power from separate circuits. The reason this must be done, is because the machine pulls so much power to operate the pump, vacuum motors, and heater.
Features
Top mounted exhaust vents dissipate the hottest air, extending vacuum motor life.
Trigger sprayer holders for spotting chemicals and agitation brushes.
Molded-in air deflector reduces turbulence within the recovery tank, and helps to break down foam.
Internal heater heats water to 195° F, which is not quite steam.
Called a heated carpet steam cleaner because of the high heat it produces.
